Chipwich Blog Treatise

Chipwiches date back to 1981 and began with a guerilla marketing campaign, and sold from street carts on the streets of New York City.

Originally invented by Richard LaMotta (1942-2010) in New York City, the Chipwich can now be found throughout the world under many different brand names.

The original Chipwich is made up of vanilla ice cream surrounded by two chocolate-chip cookies.
This will be considered the standard by which all Chipwiches are judged.
All variation will be considered upgrades or downgrades based on this standard.

The debate is now open.
